Reservations and deposit
After making a booking through the form on our website www.villahermosacolina.com, you will receive a confirmation email. Upon booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total is required (For more information about deposits, please see "Payments" below). Once the deposit is received, Villa Hermosa Colina will issue a final confirmation by email. The party to whom the confirmation is addressed is wholly responsible for the total amount of the reservation and for the compliance of the members of your group with these booking conditions. Reservations from persons under 18 years of age cannot be accepted. Villa Hermosa Colina reserves the right to refuse reservations without explanation. By making the payment, you confirm your consent to these terms and conditions; once confirmation has been issued by Villa Hermosa Colina, the rental contract becomes binding and your agreement with these conditions is confirmed.
In order to guarantee your reservation, Villa Hermosa Colina must receive 30% of the total booking amount as a non-refundable deposit when booking more than 9 weeks (63 days) in advance. The balance of the reservation cost must be received by Villa Hermosa Colina no later than 9 weeks (63 days) prior to arrival. Parties booking less than 9 weeks (63 days) prior to the date of arrival must pay the full booking amount at the time of reservation in order to confirm the booking. Failure to pay the balance (or total amount, as the case may be) on time will constitute cancellation, and you will be subject to cancellation charges. Receipt and banking of any deposit does not constitute acceptance of any booking. A binding contract exists only when Villa Hermosa Colina issues an email of confirmation.
Prices and security deposit
All prices are in euro (EUR). The properties are fully furnished and equipped. The rental price includes bed linens and towels, water, electricity and gas services in moderate use, also 24-hour internet and a care-package/hamper-package of firewood, laundry soap and dishwasher soap according to the length of stay and number of people. If you need more we can provide it at an extra cost. Pool heater it is an additional 25€ per day.
A security deposit of 500€ (five hundred euros) is required to cover the cost of any damage or breakages. This security deposit is payable by bank transfer or in cash on or before arrival. In cases where damages exceed the security deposit amount, the renter is obliged to pay the full cost of the damage. The deposit will be returned in full, minus any cost of damages, within 24 hours of departure.
Alterations and cancellations by Villa Hermosa Colina
In the unlikely event that it is necessary to make an alteration to or cancel the holiday accommodation specified in the letter of confirmation, Villa Hermosa Colina will inform you as soon as possible and, if requested, will try to arrange an alternative of similar type and standard of accommodation as originally requested. If the alternative holiday accommodation is not acceptable, we will refund in full all monies paid and shall be under no other liability.
Cancellation by you
Any cancellation by you, for whatever reason, must be made in writing to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations become effective upon the date received in writing by Villa Hermosa Colina.
Cancellations received, for whatever reason except those related to Covid-19 (For more information, please see "Cancellations related to Covid-19", below), 9 weeks (63 days) or more prior to arrival, will be subject to a cancellation charge amounting to the total of the deposit paid (30%). Cancellations received within 9 weeks (63 days) prior to arrival or during your stay, or if Villa Hermosa Colina cancels the booking due to non-payment, will be subject to cancellation charges amounting to the total rental cost. Villa Hermosa Colina therefore recommends that you consult your insurer about the possibility of cancellation coverage.
Amendments by you
Upon receipt of your confirmation email, you are responsible for checking that the rental details are correct. If, after your booking has been accepted, you require us to amend it in any way, or to re-invoice you, Villa Hermosa Colina reserves the right to charge an amendment fee of 100€ per booking. Villa Hermosa Colina reserves the right to treat a change of accommodation and/or holiday dates as a cancellation.
Number of people using the holiday accommodation
The number of people staying in the accommodation must not be more than 10 people (adults plus children). In the event that the maximum number is exceeded without prior agreement, Villa Hermosa Colina reserves the right to refuse or revoke the booking at our sole discretion. All guests are required, by law, to provide proof of identity in order to register them at the Villa.
Representatives of Villa Hermosa Colina shall be allowed access to the holiday accommodation at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy for the purpose of inspection, maintenance and cleaning.
Arrival and departure
Guests staying at Villa Hermosa Colina must check in between 5:00 pm (17:00 hrs.) and 10:00 pm (22:00 hrs.) on the holiday start date. The accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 am (10:00 hrs) on the last day of the booking. Villa Hermosa Colina must be informed if arrival or departure times vary from the above.
Pets are not allowed without prior written permission. Please email email@example.com if you would like to bring a pet. Additional charges may apply.
The accommodation will be thoroughly cleaned at the start of the rental period. The accommodation must be left clean (normal usage) at the end of the rental period. The guests must leave all refuse and recycling containers empty and clean.
The person signing the booking letter of confirmation is wholly responsible for the correct and decent behaviour of all members of his/her party. Should you and/or your party behave in a manner deemed unsuitable by Villa Hermosa Colina, we retain the right to request that you and your party vacate the accommodation. In case of damage, the renter will be held responsible for all costs incurred. We recommend that guests take out appropriate travel insurance that will cover damage/breakages in the rented accommodation. We ask that guests be respectful of us, our neighbours and our property at all times, in particular, parties, noise or loud music are not allowed between 11:00 pm (23:00 hrs.) and 7:00 am (7:00 hrs.), nor is it permitted to invite extra people to join the vacation group.
Security and Valuables
Villa Hermosa Colina cannot be held responsible for the loss of valuables left in the accommodation.
You must maintain the holiday accommodation and all furniture, fittings, effects, facilities and equipment in the same condition as at the commencement of the holiday, and leave the holiday accommodation in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. You are responsible for all damage or loss which occurs to the property and its contents during your occupation, and will be responsible for paying appropriate compensation in the event of breakages or damage.
Villa Hermosa Colina shall not be responsible for the death or personal injury of you or any person in your party at the property unless this results from gross negligence or deliberate misconduct. Villa Hermosa Colina shall not be liable for any loss, breach or delay due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, including though not limited to acts of God; explosion; flood; tempest; fire or accident; war or threat of war; civil disturbance; acts, restrictions, regulations, by-laws or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental or local authority; strikes, lock-outs or other industrial actions or disputes; or adverse weather conditions. In case of any such event, Villa Hermosa Colina shall be entitled to treat the contract as discharged. In the event of such discharge, our liability shall be limited to the return of sums paid to us in respect of the unused portion of the holiday calculated on a pro rata daily basis. Villa Hermosa Colina cannot be held responsible for breakdown of mechanical equipment such as pumps, boilers, swimming pool filtration systems, etc., nor for failure of public utilities such as water and electricity. Nor is Villa Hermosa Colina responsible for noise or disturbances which are beyond our control.
